Roma’s missing kids initiative named ‘Best Social Responsibility Campaign’

On Wednesday evening Roma won the award for Best Social Responsibility Campaign at the Social Football Summit

The award was collected by the club’s Chief Operating Officer, Francesco Calvo.

Throughout the summer and across the club’s social media channels, all of Roma’s new summer signings announcements also featured details about missing children from Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States and many other countries around the world, using the heightened interest in the club's transfer activity to also raise awareness and help to find the youngsters featured.

In total 72 videos were made, covering the signings of 10 different Roma players.

Over 100 children were featured, with the videos watched more than 10 million times in total.

Over the course of the campaign, a total of five children featured in videos were eventually found and reunited with their loved ones.
