Medical update: Edin Dzeko

On Monday morning Edin Dzeko underwent a surgical procedure following the injury sustained during Sunday’s draw with Cagliari.

The striker suffered two fractures to his right cheekbone during the game. During the surgery one of these fractures was treated manually, while the other required the insertion of a small plate with screws.

The surgery was completed by Professor Pesucci.
