Gallery: Roma stars pay visit to club’s New York pop-up store

The launch event for Roma’s new pop-up store in collaboration with Fancy.com was the hottest ticket in town on Sunday night.

Patrik Schick, Justin Kluivert, Rick Karsdorp, Bryan Cristante and Stephan El Shaarawy joined club president Jim Pallotta and general manager Mauro Baldissoni at the event at 57 Bond Street to check out the new capsule collections and collaborations put together exclusively by Roma and Fancy.com to mark the team’s visit to New York City to play Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup.

With a new ‘A.S. Wolves’ collection by Nowhere FC, Roma t-shirts by Kid Dangerous, leather jackets by Reynaldo Rivera and a customised Roma lyric speaker and arcade game, as well as new art by Brivido Pop on display, the event attracted not just Giallorossi fans in New York but also rappers, models, musicians, sports stars and media personalities.

However, the biggest attraction at the Fancy x Roma pop-up store was undoubtedly the unveiling of four customised Nike sneakers by designer Rich Franklin, including a one-off collaboration between AS Roma and New York hip-hop collective A$AP Mob.

Members of the A$AP Worldwide crew, including rapper A$AP TyY, were in attendance for the reveal of the new Nike Air Force 1 and spent time chatting with Roma president Pallotta and posing for pictures with fans throughout the night.

The Roma x Fancy.com pop-up store will be open until 8pm on Monday and from noon until 8pm on Tuesday at 57 Bond Street, New York.
