AS Roma and Fnatic are happy to announce that 19-year-old Polish gamer ‘Damie’ has joined the Roma eSports ranks.

Augustyniak, who last represented Nordavind, will make his Giallorossi debut at this weekend’s FIFA Global Series Playoffs in Amsterdam. ‘Damie’ has already performed well at a Global Series event this year, making it to the top 8 of April’s FUT Champions Cup in Manchester. His last appearance as a Nordavind player was at the Gfinity Elite Series, a competition which ‘Zimme’ and ‘Rannerz’ eventually won.

He will participate in the PS4 side of the playoffs alongside ‘Zimme’ on Friday. Both players will be competing for a berth in the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final in London. In order to clinch a spot in the biggest FIFA competition of the year, they have to reach the top 16 this weekend in Amsterdam.

‘Damie’ is very excited to join Roma and Fnatic: “I’ve always looked up to Fnatic as a gaming organization, and their collaboration with Roma just made my decision even easier.” After the Global Series Playoffs, he will continue to represent both organisations at all official esports events around the world.
