Roma eSports are delighted to announce their first FIFA signing of the new competitive season, Simon Nystedt.

‘Zimme’ will join Sam ‘Poacher’ Carmody and Nicoló ‘Insa’ Mirra on the current eSports roster. The three players represent the AS Roma eSports team at all official FIFA tournaments and events.

The 18-year-old gamer from Fritsla, Sweden made his professional debut in 2015. 'Zimme' reached the final of the European Regional Qualifier of the FIFA Interactive World Cup last season. He also participated in the Swedish FIFA Championships and is currently ranked as the second best FIFA player in his home country.

When asked why he chose Roma eSports, 'Zimme' revealed: “Roma eSports combines one of the biggest eSports organisations and one of the biggest football clubs in the world. It was an amazing opportunity and an incredible feeling when I finally signed."
