Club president Jim Pallotta has taken the opportunity to thank Jesse Fioranelli for his work during his time at Roma.

On Thursday Fioranelli agreed to take over as general manager of MLS franchise the San Jose Earthquakes.

Fioranelli, who joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2015, was a member of the club's Direzione Sportiva.

He assisted head coach Luciano Spalletti and his staff with scouting and advanced analysis, using innovative methods to add insight to match preparation and player evaluation.

"Jesse has been an integral component in the advancement of our sporting sector,” Pallotta said. “I want to personally thank him for his outstanding service to the club and wish him great success leading the San Jose Earthquakes franchise.”
