Arief Farendra Makarim: "I was eight years old when that incredible moment happened. It was wonderful. I was watching Roma vs Parma, and it's the best game I have ever seen. I am proud because of that, and still waiting for a moment like that again. Proud to be a Romanista!"

Matteo Giallorosso: "I was there!!! I had a season ticket in the Distinti Sud stand, Entrance 22, Section 22B, Row 69, Seat 12!!! It was an unforgettable day: I got to the stadium at 10, the match began at three, I didn’t get out until seven and I don’t think I got home until one in the morning!!! ^_^"

Mauro Di Claudio: "I was on the grass outside the stadium with my wife. We hadn’t been able to get a ticket, but my daughter and her boyfriend had. Even so, we enjoyed the game all the same, celebrating when we heard the roars from inside the stadium. When it was over, we hugged, crying tears of joy for the historic achievement."

Fabio Patacchiola: "I was at my parents’ house, but the way my father and I were cheering the team on it was like the Curva Sud in there! My eyes are welling up as I write this, I’m sobbing – I’d never seen my father so happy. He’d experienced the massive low of losing the European Cup final against Liverpool, but when the final whistle blew that day we burst into tears of joy and hugged each other!!!"

Marco D'alessandro: "I was in the Tribuna Tevere, in the very last row. I got to the stadium at 10, but we were on the Duca d’Aosta bridge from eight in the morning. It was a unique feeling – only the birth of my daughter beats it. Forza Roma!"

Katy Puma: "It was the day of my now husband's 31st birthday and my first time ever seeing AS Roma live! What an amazing experience! I never knew that a soccer match could have such an enormous amount of energy and could make a grown man cry!!! Forza Roma! Sempre forza Roma!!!"

Barbara Beato: "I watched it at a friend’s house, then we all went out into the streets of Rome with our flags blowing in the wind. I was pregnant at the time and my baby turned out to be a real Roma wolf!"

Max Accorinti: "I was in the Tribuna Montemario after a 600-kilometre train journey. What a day. What a feeling. That day was all about the flags and hugging strangers. Forza Roma forever."

Veruska Gramignano: "I was at the Olimpico: tears, joy, shouting… it’s hard to explain. Only those that were there can understand the depths of the emotion we experienced. It’s a wonderful memory that I love dearly. My captain’s goal brought me to tears…."

Corrado Palazzetti: "I’ll never forget it, firstly because I love Roma, and secondly because I was born on 17 June and the day we won the Scudetto was my 18th birthday!!!"

Giampiero Mazza: "My girlfriend (now wife) and I drove around Rome on my scooter singing until the early hours… what an amazing feeling, what a spectacle!!! Only God knows how long I was out there on the streets yelling for!"

Orietta Picconi: "I was at the stadium!!! When the game ended I burst into tears… Then I went home to pick up my grandson, who was waiting on the corner dressed in his kit with a flag in his hand. He was waving at everyone who passed – they would smile back and shout: “Good lad, you’re growing up right!!” Then we went by scooter to Piazza del Popolo to celebrate. I could see the same emotions I was feeling in the eyes of everyone else."

Chiara Savignano: "I was at home, many miles away from my beloved Rome, but my mind, voice and heart were at the stadium. What a feeling – it was amazing! I’ll never forget those images of the stadium, the crowd singing the club song at the top of its lungs and that sea of Giallorossi colours! Wonderful memories!"

Roberto Buffoni: "I kissed the Olimpico pitch. It was an indescribable feeling, an amazing celebration, something I’d love to experience again one day. Fantastic!"
