AS Roma’s international digital expansion continues with the announcement that the club have today launched an official Greek-language Twitter account.
The new social media feed - @asromagreek - will allow the club to directly engage with fans in Greek for the first time.
Roma have a growing fan base in both Greece and Cyprus – as fans follow the fortunes of Greek internationals Kostas Manolas and Vasilis Torosidis – and the new account will allow the club to communicate on a daily basis with this passionate fan base.
The launch of @asromagreek means the club now communicates with fans around the world in nine different languages on a daily basis.
On Twitter, AS Roma now has seven local-language accounts – Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Arabic and Greek – with Facebook pages in Arabic and Thai and an official presence on both Sina Weibo and WeChat.
