AS Roma team up with Nissan

Nissan & AS Roma

AS Roma and Nissan are delighted to have agreed a premium partnership to promote and encourage the use of electric vehicles in Italy, sharing the principles of sustainability and protecting the climate and environment

The club will become a prestigious partner for Nissan, as the brand makes its presence felt in the city and across the nation, whilst safeguarding the capital's environment. The two organisations share the same views on sustainable society and mobility.

Indeed, Nissan has promoted zero-emissions mobility for more than a decade and plans to launch a series of activities involving the Giallorossi players and the club as the ideal ambassadors for electric transport.

Protecting the environment and climate is a key area for Roma and the club are proud to support Nissan - a global leader in zero-emissions mobility featuring a range of electric cars - in a very important campaign to raise awareness within the city and those who live there.

"We're proud to welcome Nissan as partner of the Giallorossi," said Roma chief executive Umberto Gandini. "Nissan are a prestigious brand with whom we share the same commitment - within our respective areas - of consistently devising new, cutting-edge products to meet the needs of a growing market. This new partnership will allow us to once again prove that our company plans to consolidate its position at the top of the sporting and business worlds."

Nissan Italy CEO Bruno Mattucci also expressed his delight at the deal.

"We're pleased to work with Roma because this partnership ties in with our involvement in the world of sport and zero-emissions sustainability,” Mattucci said. “We are a market leader in electric mobility and have been at the forefront of the fight against climate change for years.

“We want to create a world with a reduced environmental footprint and we can achieve this with a big player like AS Roma, by publicising the benefits of zero-emissions mobility for both society and the economy."
