Alisson Ramses Becker, commonly known as Alisson, was born in Novo Hamburgo in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on 2 October 1992.
He joined the Internacional youth academy as an 11-year-old in 2003 and made his senior debut in 2013, going on to play 83 times in all competitions.
The goalkeeper hails from the same club as Giallorossi icon Paulo Roberto Falcao, who joined Roma from Internacional in 1980 and was a member of the 1982-83 Scudetto-winning side. The former midfielder
recently described Alisson as “a great goalie with excellent technique and a strong physique”.
The Brazilian shot-stopper won the state championship with Internacional in four consecutive seasons, from 2013 to 2016.
He earned a Brazil U17 call-up in 2009 and played nine times for the U17s, before helping the U20 team win the Toulon Tournament in 2013.
Alisson made his senior debut for the Selecao in a 3-1 World Cup-qualifying win over Venezuela on 13 October 2015. He quickly established himself in the national set-up and played at the Copa America Centenario in the United States in 2016.Show More Show Less
