Happy birthday Daniele De Rossi!

The Rome-born central midfielder, who came through the academy system to reach the first-team, has played a staggering 561 games in the club’s shirt, scoring 59 goals. He currently sits second on the club’s all-time list of appearance makers.

Last season De Rossi scored five goals in 40 games for the club, of which 31 came in Serie A.

In his career he has also made 114 appearances for Italy, scoring 21 goals – making him the Roma player who has scored more goals than any other for the Azzurri.
