Legendary former footballer Diego Maradona has sent an incredible tribute to Roma captain Francesco Totti, calling him the "best player I ever saw".
Maradona, a World Cup winner with Argentina, has long been a friend of Totti - with the two bonding further when they played in a charity match at the Stadio Olimpico at the end of 2016.
And, on Sunday, the great No. 10 underlined the respect and admiration he has for the Italian who cemented his own legacy in the same shirt number.
Maradona hailed Totti as the best player he had ever had the good fortune to watch play.
"Francesco Totti, the king of Rome!" Maradona wrote. "He is, and will be, the best player I ever saw [in my life]."
