Buy AS Roma’s new Nike home kit for the 2017-18 season now

Roma will return to traditional colours for the upcoming season, with a new Nike strip that utilises the historic red and yellow tones of the club and city's illustrious past.

Players will wear the new kit for the first time on Sunday 28 May, as they face Genoa in the final game of the current Serie A campaign at the Stadio Olimpico.

The kit is available to purchase from AS Roma Stores and selected Nike outlets.

The new Nike strip uses the city of Rome's official shades of red and yellow, as the Giallorossi return to an historic colour palette across our badge, club merchandise and other materials for the upcoming campaign.

The shirt itself is red, with some small yellow and black accents across the neck and flanks respectively. The fabric comprises a number of different textures across the chest zone, while the black side strips expand as the player is running – revealing yellow panels underneath, while also allowing for maximum ventilation.

Inside the strip, along the neck line, the phrase ‘Roma Siamo Noi’ (‘We are Roma’) is printed, an illustration and reminder of the special bond the team and its supporters have with the city.

The shorts are red, with a black band on either flank, while in a change from previous campaigns the socks are predominantly black – giving a subtle yet updated edge to the overall effect. The socks come with special ‘Nike Grip’ technology, with ‘AS Roma’ inscribed in yellow across the calf.

The 2017-18 kit is Nike’s most technologically advanced ever, using AeroSwift technology to make them 10% lighter and with 50% more stretch than last season’s kits. The textured, high-performance yarn wicks sweat away from the skin 20% faster than before, while the kit also dries 25% quicker than previous iterations.

The kits will also be complemented by new numbering and lettering for the upcoming campaign.
