Roma to support Telethon cause for fifth year

KGL

For the fifth season in succession, the Giallorossi will show their support for Telethon by wearing shirts promoting the Italian charity cause during Saturday's Serie A meeting with Cagliari.

Eusebio Di Francesco's side will wear special one-off shirts for the game at the Stadio Olimpico, adorned with the Telethon logo and this year's campaign hashtage, #presente.

At the end of the match, all the kits worn by players will be collected and donated to Telethon, in order to be auctioned in support of the cause.

"Wre are very proud to support the Telethon cause once again," coach Eusebio Di Francesco said.

This year's focus is on those dealing with rare genetic conditions. They and their families always need people 'present' to help them face the challenges on a daily basis.

Fans in Italy can support the #presente campaign by sending a text with their donation amount to 45518, or by visiting www.telethon.it.
