Would you want to be drawn against Roma? “Yes, I prefer Roma over any other teams. The problem is we will see Roma as one of the easy teams left in the competition, but we should not underestimate them. They have done great this year.”
What have you made of Roma this season? “They are a great side with some great players. They also have great history and tradition. Their manager Eusebio Di Francesco is doing a fine job and for them to top the group was an eye opener. The opportunity to go to Stadio Olimpico would be amazing”.

Would you want to be drawn against Roma? “Roma is always a difficult team to play against. They are a great defensive side, shown by the number of clean sheets they have kept this season. In terms of wanting to play the best teams in the competition, I would love the opportunity to play Roma but based on form, I think they would be a difficult team to break down and provide a lot of difficulties.”
What have you made of Roma this season? “Growing up, I've always seen Roma as a top Italian club. I always admired Francesco Totti and I admit to having a tear in my eye seeing him playing his last game. He was a true legend. Roma is a great club with a proud history and at the moment, a very promising side in this European competition. To come top of their group was a great achievement and showed the ability they have and the potential they are proving to go far.”
Who do you actually want to face in the Champions League knockout stages? “I personally would love an English team but that is because I live here and would love to see Porto come over. Although we don't have the greatest record in England, the other options are PSG, Barcelona or Roma for us so... I would take Liverpool or Tottenham.”

Would you want to be drawn against Roma? “Yes, Roma in theory would be the most accessible opponent for FC Porto.”
What have you made of Roma this season? “Roma is a good Italian team. This season they are performing well so far in the various competitions. Being in fourth place in the league is a position which doesn't truly reflect the power and quality of the team, but there’s still plenty of the league still to play. In the UEFA Champions League, you only need to see the group table and where Chelsea and Atlético Madrid finished. Roma have been incredible.”
Who do you actually want to face in the Champions League knockout stages? “I think the most reasonable draw for FC Porto is AS Roma. They are seen as a weakened team compared to the rest left in the competition. They don't have much experience in this competition at this level. Last year FC Porto faced Roma in the play-offs and in the second leg in Italy we beat Roma 3-0. With this in mind, if we get Roma in Monday's draw we will have great chances to succeed in the competition, but we also know that any game is difficult, regardless of the opponent.”
