14 players involved in international action

GEKL

A total of 14 Roma players will be in action for their countries during the forthcoming international break

Radja Nainggolan (Belgium) and Diego Perotti (Argentina) are both back with their respective national sides after receiving a recall, with Belgium facing Mexico - where he could come up against club-mate Hector Moreno - and Japan over the coming days.

Perotti will have the chance to impress after a near seven-year absence from international football, as Argentina face Russia and Nigeria. Federico Fazio is also in Jorge Sampaoli's squad.

After their game with Belgium, Moreno's Mexico are also in action against Poland - where they could face goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski. Poland also have a friendly against Uruguay planned as they begin their preparations for next summer's World Cup.

Defender Kostas Manolas is one of the few players in competitive action, with Greece facing Croatia for a place in Russia next year. However, Manolas is suspended for Thursday's first leg.

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been called up by Brazil for the games against Japan and England, with Bogdan Lobont joining the Romania squad for their meetings with Turkey and Holland.

He could face both Cengiz Under and Kevin Strootman across those two games, with Turkey also playing Albania and the Netherlands in action against Scotland.

Aleksandar Kolarov is also away this week, representing Serbia as they face China and South Korea.

Finally, Daniele De Rossi, Stephan El Shaarawy and Alessandro Florenzi are all in the Italy squad for their World Cup play-off with Sweden.
