Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata admits he was 'impressed' by Roma's performance last time the two sides met - but believes his team will be fired up for Tuesday's return leg at the Stadio Olimpico.

The two sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago, and now meet again with a lot riding on the Champions League group stage match.

And Morata expects both sides to be motivated for a huge 90 minutes.

“Roma impressed me in the game in London," Morata told Gazzetta dello Sport. "They deserved to win. It turned out well for us. This time it's a clean slate though and I think we will be more up for it now after three straight wins."

He added: "[Edin] Dzeko was incredible at Stamford Bridge. His first goal was a work of art. I've always liked him - he's world class.

"Roma caused us a number of problems. They've got a bit more [about them] than Atletico Madrid."
