The versatile defender, recovering from knee surgery, made another important step in his ongoing rehabilitation - as he began working with Alberto De Rossi's Under-19 side.

He will continue to work with the junior side this week, and will likely play in a competitive match with the group before being considered for a return to Luciano Spalletti's side.
