Roma complete Bruno Peres signing

AS Roma can confirm that the club has completed the signing of Bruno Peres from Torino FC

The agreement with Torino for the defender is for an initial €1 million loan, with an obligation to make the transfer permanent – depending on the completion of certain performance targets – for a fee of €12.5m.

The transfer deal includes clauses for an additional bonus payment, up to a maximum of €1.5m, if the club and the player reach certain sporting objectives.

The 26-year-old Brazilian began his professional career at Audax in his homeland, later going on to represent Santos for two seasons. He joined Torino in 2014, going to make 65 appearances in Serie A - scoring six goals.

"I'm absolutely delighted to start this new challenge," Peres told asroma.com. "I can't wait to meet my new team-mates and show the coach what I can do. In the meantime, I'll cheer the guys on from my living room tomorrow night. Forza Roma!"
