On Saturday Mario Rui underwent medical tests on his left knee, following the injury he sustained during training in Boston on Friday afternoon
Mario Rui has been diagnosed with an anterior cruciate ligament injury following medical examinations on Saturday.
The Portuguese full-back twisted his knee during Friday's afternoon training session in Boston.
Mario Rui will travel back to Rome later on Saturday and undergo arthroscopic surgery over the next few days.
