How do you evaluate your first season with AS Roma?

"I think it was good but we did not win any titles and this is a problem."

Who are you closest to at Roma?

"I am very close to all my teammates but I have a very good relationship with Diego Perotti."

What is your goal with the national team?

"To win African Cup with Egypt."

Who was your favourite Arabic player growing up?

"We have had so many strong Arabic players since my childhood that it is very difficult to say which is my favorite. I like many different ones."

Which national team will you support at Euro 2016?

"I will support all teams who my team-mates play for."

What is your goal with AS Roma for next season?

"I hope to win a title with AS Roma to make our fans happy."

Who is your idol in football?

"Can I pick three? Ronaldo, Zidane and Totti."

What is the best goal you have scored with Roma?

"I will pick two - against Palermo and Sassuolo."

Can you achieve the dream of 90 million people and help Egypt to qualify for the World Cup?

"Yes, it is my objective and I work for that every day."

Would you ever return to the Egyptian league?

"Anything is possible but I don't control the future."

What do you do in your free time?

"I play with my daughter and read many books."

Are you planning to go on holiday this summer?

"My holidays will be during Ramadan so i will spend it with my family."

Once your career is over, do you think you can take a shot at being a coach?

"You never know what can happen tomorrow but it is a possibility."

How well is your Italian coming along?

"Molto bene, grazie."
