Stadio della Roma designs presented to CONI

Stadio della Roma representatives today submitted technical documentation to the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) for a preliminary review

This represents the beginning of the final submission process that will see the comprehensive dossier of the Tor di Valle / Stadio della Roma project presented to Regione Lazio.

As part of this submission, CONI will receive the project’s detailed designs and narrative reports for the stadium, new training complex and Roma Village prepared by a group of national and international team of experts.

The documentation, delivered in digital format, allows CIS (Commissione Impianti Sportivi) to give its “parere” to the Conferenza dei Servizi.

The future home of AS Roma has been included in the bid to host the 2024 Olympic Games in Rome, representing a commitment from the city of Rome that underlines the importance of this project to the people of Italy.

“Presenting the stadium designs to CONI is the first step of our submission process,” commented David Ginsberg from Stadio della Roma. “CONI has always been an honorable and important partner for AS Roma and we look to continue this long-lasting partnership for many years to come.

"We also want to confirm our support to CONI for the Rome 2024 Olympic Games candidacy and we hope that Stadio della Roma will play a key role for this important event.”
